Scholarship Programs

Scholarships recognize outstanding students for academic achievement, financial need, academic field of study, community service, campus activities, and outside interests. At Santa Rosa Junior College, scholarships are offered to incoming, continuing, and transferring students. Funding sources that support the scholarship programs at Santa Rosa Junior College include the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation Scholarship funds, individual, business and community awards, and outside scholarship funds.

Doyle Scholarships provide financial assistance to qualified local high school graduates who will attend Santa Rosa Junior College in the academic year following their high school graduation. Doyle scholarships assist students as they work to complete an Associate’s Degree, certificate program, and/or units necessary to transfer to a four-year institution. Funds for these scholarships are provided through the Frank P. Doyle and Polly O’Meara Doyle Trust. The primary application period for Doyle Scholarships is from October 1 – March 2.

Applications for the SRJC Foundation scholarships are available between January 2 and March 2 and from August 1 to October 1. Students are encouraged to contact the Scholarship Office early for information on completing the appropriate application. Scholarships from outside sources are regularly advertised on the Scholarship web page listed below. The Scholarship Office is located in Plover Hall on the Santa Rosa campus. Office hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Fridays. For additional information, call (707) 527-4740.
