WILLIAM B. RACE HEALTH SCIENCES BUILDING
The William B. Race Health Sciences Building houses Health Sciences programs and Student Health Services. It provides state-of-the-art instructional facilities for SRJC’s Health Sciences Programs: Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Radiologic Technology, Associate Degree in Nursing (RN), Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Pharmacy Technician, Nutrition & Dietetics, Dietetic Technician, Certified Dietary Manager, Healthcare Interpreter, Public Health Degree, and Summer Health Careers Institute.
The building houses a 30-bed nursing skills laboratory, an ambulatory skills laboratory with exam rooms, a fully operational digital X-ray unit for training Radiologic Technologists, a pre-dental clinic laboratory, and a mock pharmacy. The Allied Dental Health Programs’ state-of-the-art clinic is where all SRJC students, faculty, and community members are welcome to receive low-cost dental x-rays and cleanings. Oral health plays an important role in your general health and wellness. Our students are happy to provide these services. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (707) 527-2844.
The Health Learning Resource Center (HLRC) serves the health education needs of Santa Rosa Junior College students. The 30-station educational technology supports the Health Sciences Programs including standardized testing required for State and National Licensing. The center is open, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Call the HLRC at (707) 527-4207.
